We’re a group of legal designers passionate about spreading creativity and a user-centred approach to law.
Our mission is to democratise legal design: all design-curious people in the legal industry (and beyond) should have access to legal design training. That’s why we have created a free e-learning platform for the innovators ready to dive into their legal design learning path.
The Legal Design Sandbox helps you learn legal design at your own pace, with guidance and resources from industry specialists.
As sharing and building a community is our incentive, we as the founders of the Legal Design Sandbox are doing this for free. We donate our time and skills to improving legal services and your work enjoyment.

Our dedicated team have worked since early 2023 on creating the Legal Design Sandbox. Each has a unique skill set and experience in law, design and technology (and humour).
We come from different countries and continents to give you a well-rounded, diverse perspective on legal design and its applications.
Aclara Legal Design’s founder, Anna Posthumus Meyjes, was involved in all phases of creating the Sandbox, particularly the brand identity and web design.
